MUSSLAH
(PRAYER ROOM)
1102 - 15th AVE
COLD LAKE North

january february march april may june july august september october december
PRAYER TIMES
Fajr: Offered between the very beginning of dawn and sunrise.
Sunrise: The time when Fajr (morning) prayer ends.
Dhuhr: Offered between the declining of the sun and Asr prayer time.
Asr: Offered immediately after the last time of Dhuhr until the sunset.
Maghrib: Offered after sunset until Isha prayer.
Isha: Offered after the disappearance of the twilight until midnight.
Most things are preset so there is no issue. During the long
summer months, there is however an issue around the times
of the morning prayer and late evening prayer,
as there is no 'true night' in Cold Lake!

Thus, Fajr is calculated by subtracting 1 1/2 hours from the time of sunrise
and by adding 1 1/2 hours to the time of sunset for Jum'mah
(the Friday prayer), which is done at 1:30 (or 12:30 during daylight savings.)
This is based on the wisdom of scholars, but God knows best.
